I'm missing a certificate or Wood Badge

If you have not received a long service certificate that you are overdue

Length of Service awards are just one way the Chief Scout shows gratitude for this service at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 year intervals (based on the start dates listed on Compass). Service need not be continuous.

The awards are produced automatically by UK Headquarters and sent out four times a year to District level. There can be delays in receiving these awards from HQ, as well as then arranging a member of our Senior Leadership Team to come out and present the award to you.

If your award is 2 years or more overdue, please complete the below form so we can look into this for you:

If you have not received your Wood Badge

Wood Badges are produced automatically by UK Headquarters and sent out four times a year to District level. There can be delays in receiving these awards from HQ, as well as then arranging a member of our Senior Leadership Team to come out and present the award to you.

If your award is 2 years or more overdue:

• Check your training record says "Wood Badge: [date]" rather than "PLP: [date]" , if it does not say 'Wood Badge', please email simon.pyzer@elstreescouts.org.uk who can arrange to recommend a wood badge.
• If your training record reflects a wood badge has been awarded, and you still haven't had it, please email david.smith@elstreescouts.org.uk who will be able to check on the status of presenting your award for you.
